Last two weeks in Shanghai, minimal cooking as everything were shipped back.
One month at service apartment, almost zero cooking.
Three weeks in new home, unpacking, settling and finally…

Nice little road which leads to the train station. Not safe to use at night and alone but makes a real nice walk after a meal. How many such roads are still available in Singapore and what more, in the heart of the city.

A star at my church


Yes, Li Nan Xing(LNX) was at my church.

He was there to share about his life story. In this age, it is sometimes hard to believe that a God exist and miracles do happen. It is very difficult to convince non-believers to believe such things can still happen. When one has experienced it first hand, one will truly know that HE is indeed real. That was exactly how LNX came to know God. In his desperate moment (on the brink of being declared a bankrupt), after trying out various gods and ways to solve his problems, he finally found the one true God.

A night at the Esplanade

Our very first musical since our return. I try to make it a point to expose the kids to good musicals once a while. Dick Lee and a host of good local artiste from the art scene put up an inspiring musical. It was about each artiste's journey into the world of  theatre. It was about pursuing one's dream, the dream to be a theatrical star. Very inspiring. Some started off as backstage crew. At the end of the musical, I ask myself "what do I want to be for the next half of my life." A question which all of us should ask ourselves.
